TinyTERM ITX for iPhone provides exact terminal emulation, with SSH and telnet

The fully programmable
keyboard has three settings: full (pictured below), transparent and hidden. You
can cycle through the three states by tapping the keyboard button in the title
bar.
With the keyboard hidden,
the number of rows and columns may be changed, displaying more information in the
same space.
When the keyboard is
transparent, the emulator takes up the full iPhone screen. The keyboard overlays
this so that both may be used simultaneously.
Pinch zoom allows you to
zoom in on an area of interest. A finger swipe moves the viewable area around, so
you can access the entire emulation screen.
